  • Agoraphobia has a lifetime prevalence of 0.6% - 6%

  • Agoraphobia can be a part of Panic Disorder ( see Panic Disorder ) and is frequently comorbid with depression, other anxiety disorders, personality disorders, substance related disorders.

Do you avoid the above mentioned situations or require a companion?

 

 

  If you answered YES to the above questions you might have Agoraphobia and you could benefit from psychiatric treatment (antianxiety medication, behavioral therapy, relaxation exercises, individual psychotherapy etc.).
