Conduct Disorder

•  Occurs in 6-16 % of boys and 2-9% of girls younger than 18 years of age

• Conduct Disorder is characterized by a repetitive pattern of behavior in which the rights of others or the rules are violated.

• The child manifests several of the following:

	Answer the following questions:	YES	NO
1	Aggression to people and animals: Bully Physical fights Uses weapons Physically cruel to people and/or animals Stealing while confronting the victim Forced someone into sexual activity
2	Property destruction: Fire setting with the intention of causing damage Deliberately destroyed property
3	Deceitfulness or theft: Has broken into houses or cars Has stolen things without confronting the victim Often "cons" others
4	Rules violation: Brakes curfew Runs away from home Truancy
5	The above cause significant impairment in functioning

  If the child manifests several of the above he/she might benefit from psychiatric treatment.
